Leeds United have released a statement regarding a series of precautionary measures they will be taking ahead of their Championship fixture with Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon. The game is set to take place at Elland Road and having taken advice from the EFL and the National Health Service the club detailed their plans via their official website.

They have confirmed a number of actions that will be taken in order to try and protect the welfare of all in attendance, one of which includes encouraging supporters to reconsider physical contact such as high fives and hugs.

What do we think?

Judging by the light-hearted nature of some of these replies it appears not everybody is prepared to allow the coronavirus to spoil their matchday experience. The Whites will be hoping to take all three points on Saturday as they look to take another step towards automatic promotion but they will face a Huddersfield Town side in need of the points for a very different reason. The Terriers find themselves just four points clear of the drop-zone – adding an extra edge to this Yorkshire derby.
