Liverpool suffered a 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night which saw them eliminated from this season’s FA Cup at the fifth-round stage. Jurgen Klopp’s side have now lost three of their last four fixtures in all competitions but despite the dramatic dip in form, the German say’s he’s not concerned about momentum (via the Echo).
The Reds are within four wins of wrapping up their first-ever Premier League title (as per BBC Sport) and have a UEFA Champions League crunch tie with Atletico Madrid to come at Anfield next Wednesday. Klopp has shown the FA Cup not to be his priority this season after he opted to stay away from the club’s fourth-round replay versus Shrewsbury Town last month.
Are you concerned by Klopp's post-match response?
Yes
No
What have the fans made of the manager’s comments?
Well, that is a concern on its own that he is not concerned

Actually, his calmness worried me ?

Man is so calm and that’s worrying

We’re not going to start freaking out now about Juergen, are we? Or this team? It’s a blip. We’re still winning the first title in 30 years. Not every season can be a Treble/Invincible type season, there’s a reason both have been done only once each

However, some were less concerned with Klopp’s response to the defeat.
Chelsea played a better game. It’s that simple. We’ll learn and come back stronger

And why should he be concerned?? We are so close to winning the league after 30 years and our home record speaks for itself, our 3 losses have been away from home. Everyone needs to calm down and keep believing

What do we think?
The visit of Bournemouth to Anfield this weekend, in our view, offers the perfect opportunity for the Reds to get back on track ahead of their Champions League fixture and the Merseyside Derby that’s just around the corner. It seems to us, that Liverpool are the victims of their own incredibly high standards.
