Liverpool fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest transfer news surrounding goalkeeper Adrian.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by the Liverpool Echo by journalist Paul Gorst.
The report claimed that Adrian “will stay” at the club as Alisson’s “deputy” next season.

The Spaniard joined the club from fellow Premier League side West Ham United back in the previous summer transfer window (per Transfermarkt). In Liverpool’s recent 3-2 defeat at Anfield to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Adrian was at fault for the visitor’s opening goal of the game. Now that it has been reported that Adrian will be keeping his place in the Liverpool squad as Alisson’s back up, this news has disappointed a lot of Reds fans.

It’s sad to see these Liverpool fans upset by the news that Adrian will still be a Liverpool player next season. He may have made a mistake in their important Champions League match but he still deserves a bit of respect from the fans.
