What do we think?

Calciomercato.com reported at the beginning of the week that Italy’s Serie A has been suspended as per a decision which was made by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, who stated that “there is no need for sporting events to continue”.  Furthermore, Spain’s La Liga has also announced that they have agreed to postpone the competition due to COVID-19.

Considering that other football leagues around Europe have already suspended play due to coronavirus, it may be understandable why some Leicester fans have called for the Premier League to follow suit, after Rodgers’ announcement that some Leicester players were showing signs of the disease.
