Some Leicester City fans have recently shared their view on social media that the Foxes should sell 23-year-old left-back Ben Chilwell.
Chelsea-focused journalist Oliver Harbord recently mentioned that the Leicester City left-back is “on the radar” for the Blues heading into the 2020 summer transfer window, in response to one Twitter user who asked Harbord if Porto’s “Alex Telles is Lampard’s first choice” for the left-back position, during a recent ‘Q&A’ session which was conducted on the website ‘football.london’.
Harbord’s recent revelations regarding Chelsea’s potential interest in Chilwell got some Leicester City-focused Twitter accounts, such as @FoxesofLCFC and @LiveLCFC talking about Chilwell’s future. This subsequently prompted some Foxes supporters to take to Twitter to share their opinion that their club should sell the 23-year-old left-back in the summer.

It may be the right time to accept a particularly high bid for Chilwell, especially with Justin looking like the real deal

What do we think?
Chilwell is currently valued at £45m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, with his current Leicester City contract running until the summer of 2024, signing that long-term deal with the Foxes back in October 2018.
It may be fair to say that Leicester will be under no real pressure to sell the 23-year-old in the summer, considering his current contract will still have four years remaining on it. As a result, it may be fair to say that Chelsea, or any other potential buying club, may have to acquiesce to Leicester’s demands if they want to take Chilwell away from the King Power Stadium this summer.
