Great news this, I’ve never not rated him but I didn’t expect him to push on and hit the form he has this season, made us forget about Zouma really

What do we think?
With the English defender having been the Toffees’ seventh-best performer in the Premier League so far this season with an average rating of 6.76/10 (per WhoScored), it is unsurprising that supporters are delighted to see him stay.
Though a new contract does not totally confirm that Holgate will remain at Goodison Park in the summer if the interest from Pep Guardiola’s outfit is to be believed (per Football Insider), the new contract may ‘fend off’ the Manchester club (per Football Insider).
