Everton winger Theo Walcott has taken to Twitter to express his gratitude for the good wishes that have come his way as he celebrates his 31st birthday.
The former England attacker, who signed for the Toffees from Arsenal in January 2018, responded to a birthday message from the club’s official Twitter account, to which fans followed in offering their best wishes towards the winger.
Is Theo Walcott deserving of a contract extension?

What do we think?
So far this season, Walcott has played 25 times for the Blues in all competitions and his average performance rating currently stands at 6.41/10 (via WhoScored.com), which isn’t exactly inspiring. The Merseysiders paid in excess of £20m to secure his services and gave the former Southampton man a three-and-a-half-year contract (via BBC Sport).
Walcott’s contract at Goodison Park is set to expire at the end of next season and it remains to be seen whether he will remain a Blues player beyond that. His strike against Watford remains his only goal in the Premier League this season.
