CANNOT afford to lose him before the next season… A leader, and still one of the best LB’s in the league. Club wont be the same without him …

Do you want Leighton Baines to be offered a new one-year deal? No, not good enoughYes, he has got to stay |
Having spent just under 13 years with the Toffees since his arrival from Wigan Athletic in 2007 (per Transfermarkt), Baines’ contract is currently due to expire at the end of this season (per Transfermarkt).
However, after 39 goals and 67 assists in 417 games during his Everton career (per Transfermarkt), supporters were desperate for the 35-year-old to stay at Goodison Park.
There’s always time later for the gentle retirement to the MLS. Stay at Everton for now.

What do we think?
As can be seen in the replies to this story, it seems a whole-hearted agreement from Everton fans that they would like to see Baines stay at the club for next season at least.
Having been the sixth-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League this season when he has featured (per WhoScored), it is clear to see why the Englishman is still highly rated by supporters.
