Everton are said to be interested in signing Torino’s Nicolas N’Koulou this summer, according to Torino Granata.

Carlo Ancelotti may not have had much opportunity to assess his current squad ahead of the summer transfer window, though if we’re to believe this report, the 29-year-old is said to be on the wish lists of several Premier League clubs, including Everton.

TIF Tactics – A position that requires strengthening?

Carlo Ancelotti’s central-defensive options currently include Yerry Mina, Michael Keane and Mason Holgate. Based on the number of bodies alone, we believe it to be a position Everton will be looking to strengthen in. The report explains that Torino could make a ‘significant gain’ from N’Koulou’s sale and that if he were to join Everton he would be earning significantly more than the €1.5m (£1.33m) a year he currently gets in Turin.

It’s also said that the Cameroon defender is attracting interest from Bournemouth, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
