With the Premier League currently suspended, there is still lots of uncertainty surrounding how the rest of the 2019/20 season will play out. Some are calling for the league to be null and void, assuming the remaining matches can’t be played.
However, when a Chelsea fan account suggested that Crystal Palace fans would be happy to see the season voided, @HLTCO quickly corrected him, saying that a majority of Eagles fans are eager to see the season play out.
Do you want the season to be played out fully?
Yes
No
This is likely because the Eagles are in their best form of the season, winning three games on the trot. Here is what some Palace fans had to say in response.
AGREED!!!!!!!!!

We’re looking towards Europe

I’d like to think that even if Palace weren’t in a decent position I’d still want the season to be completed if at all possible. The whole thing has the potential to get too messy otherwise, especially considering the amount of football played at this point

Absolutely agree. Why would we want it voided?

100% agree with you. We’re in a wonderful position with 9 games to go. Very little downside, plenty of upside.

Why would we want the season to finish now ? In good form and looking up the table in March instead of looking down. Bit of a novelty for us

What do we think?
While the Eagles are in good form, there are still some tricky games left to play in the league. Of all the nine teams they have to play, seven are currently higher than them in the table.
They must still play first place Liverpool, third place Leicester, fourth place Chelsea, fifth place Manchester United and sixth place Wolverhampton Wanderers. Eighth place Tottenham are also still on the schedule.
And while Burnley, who they must also play, are technically higher than them in the standings, they are tied on points.
Despite this tricky run of games, the Eagles must also play 18th place Bournemouth and 19th place Aston Villa.
If Palace fans want to see this season out, then it is an admirable request. Despite still having to play two relegation battling teams, they will also be going up against a plethora of teams fighting for their spot in Europe.
