Aston Villa fans have been responding to the latest news surrounding the club’s current sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by John Percy in a report for The Telegraph that Pitarch is under “growing pressure” at this moment in time.
The report also claims that Dean Smith is currently “fighting for his future” at Villa after a string of poor results recently.
Will Dean Smith be the manager of Villa next season?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were keen to share their thoughts on their club’s sporting director.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

The Birmingham club’s latest match saw them fall to a disappointing 4-0 defeat away at Leicester City on Monday, resulting in the club earning their 17th league defeat of the season and plunging into the relegation zone. Now that it has been reported that both Smith and Pitarch are under pressure after the club’s poor run of form recently, this has opened the door for plenty of Villa fans to share their frustrations with the sporting director.
Now this, this is what we like to see

He needs to leave before anyone and regardless of what does or doesn't happen!

What do we think?
It appears from these replies that the Villa supporters are not big fans of Pitarch and the work he has done at the club so far. With the club currently in the relegation zone, it’s understandable why the fans have been airing their frustrations with the club and the people currently in charge of it.
