Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to Andre Green’s latest post.
This comes after the Villa man shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post from the official Villa account of an image from their Carabao Cup final defeat at Wembley on Sunday.
Green’s tweet saw the on-loan winger put three clapping emojis after seeing the image of a group huddle from the Villa team and staff after their 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
This post from Green, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to share their own thoughts on Green’s post.
Will Andre Green be in the Villa squad next season?

The 21-year-old is currently playing for Charlton Athletic on a loan deal after leaving Preston North End in January where he was serving another loan deal (per Transfermarkt). He hasn’t appeared for the Villans since the 2018/19 play-off final victory.
Now that Green has shown his appreciation for Villa’s efforts at Wembley at the weekend, this has paved the way for many Villa fans to send their own messages to Green, hoping to see him back in a Villa shirt next season.
Love you André ??

What do we think?
It’s great to see Green praising his side despite their defeat at Wembley. It’s also good to see so many Villa fans sending their positive replies to Green’s post who clearly feel he still has a future at Villa Park when his current loan deal ends.
