Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to reminisce over former Villan Scott Sinclair.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @Total_Villa shared a post on their page that included a video originally posted by @avfcgoals of Sinclair’s goal against West Bromwich Albion for Villa back in 2015.
The page then captioned the post asking their followers what their thoughts are on Sinclair’s time at Villa Park.
Was Scott Sinclair good enough for Villa?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were keen to have their say on the Englishman’s time as a Villan.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

Bit of a flash Harry, BUT he appeared to out more effort in that some others. History probably won’t be too kind to him for the Villa

Sinclair did well in patches and we should have kept him once relegated .. but not physical enough for the prem week in week out .. classic inconsistent winger

The winger first signed to the Birmingham club back in January 2015 on a loan deal from fellow Premier League side Manchester City (per Transfermarkt). After his initial loan deal ended, Sinclair was then sold to Villa for a fee of £3.15 million. However, the Englishman only had one full season at Villa Park before being sold to Celtic in 2016. During his time at Villa, Sinclair managed to score nine goals in 45 appearances for the club (per Transfermarkt). Now that the footage of one of Sinclair’s goals for Villa emerged on Twitter once again, this gave lots of Villa fans the opportunity to share their thoughts on their former winger.
Should never been released,

Should’ve given him a shot in the championship 16/17 would’ve been class imo

What do we think?
It appears that these Villa fans still have positive thoughts on Sinclair despite him only playing 45 games for the club, which is nice to see.
