Some Celtic fans have been left talking about the latest post about Chris Sutton that went viral on social media recently.
A Hoops-related page called St. Anthony recently posted about Sutton, saying that his partnership with Henrik Larsson will ‘never be equalled’ and that Sutton was an ‘all-rounder’ on the pitch.
On reading this post, many Celtic fans were left raving. They had huge praise and positive words for Sutton’s abilities.
Who was better: Larsson or Sutton?
Larsson was the best
Sutton was better
@chris_sutton73 was an absolute monster for us. Played every area of the park and must have terrified his opponents. Quick, great on the air, strong in the tackle and could score. And no little footballing ability. Larsson took away a bit of his shine, but he was fantastic.

An outstanding footballer. At their peak together sutton and Larsson could terrify any defence in Europe.

Why he had no England caps was a mystery to me because of his ability and adaptability

Loved his big English schoolboy arrogance, but, still a very talented and versatile player who was also tough as old boots!!

Sutton had joined Celtic from Chelsea in the summer of 2000. He stayed at Parkhead till January of 2006, when he joined Birmingham City on a free transfer.
What do we think?
During his time at Parkhead, Sutton won four Scottish First Division titles and won the Scottish Cup on three occasions too. It shows that Sutton indeed was a legend and the comments of Celtic fans are not a surprise, in that sense.
