Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest transfer rumour linking the club with a move for Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @VillaTil1Die shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by The Mirror.
The report claimed that the Birmingham club are “leading the race” to sign the Kosovan, although that was also alongside Liverpool and they would have to be playing Premier League football next season if they were to be in with a chance.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their immediate reactions to this latest transfer news.
Should Villa buy Rashica for £35 million?

We will not get him while Suso is still here. Would be huge upgrade on the useless wingers we have. I can’t see it happening tho especially has Liverpool are reportedly after him too.

Hope it’s true

The left-winger, who is currently valued at £31.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has scored 10 goals and provided five assists for the Bundesliga club in all competitions so far this season (per Transfermarkt). In those appearances, Rashica has played in numerous positions on the pitch such as his primary left-wing position but has also been deployed as a centre-forward and attacking-midfielder (per Transfermarkt). Now that it has been reported that Villa are interested in bringing Rashica to the club this summer, not all Villa fans have been convinced by this latest transfer rumour.
Worst defence in the league and we’re looking at an attacker??….

It would be a great signing but I doubt it will happen. He will be joining BVB!

£35m player in the championship?

What do we think?
Given his goals and assists record this season and his current transfer value, at just 23-years-old, Rashica looks to have become a great talent. Whether he would likely make the move to Villa, however, is still unknown.
