Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest rumour concerning manager Dean Smith.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally posted by Football Insider that the club are “close to sacking” Smith and “handing the reins” to assistant manager John Terry.
Should Villa sack Smith and let John Terry take over?
Yes, can't do any worse
No, that's a stupid idea
This post then quickly gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their reactions.

This comes after Villa fell to their 17th Premier League defeat of the season with a disheartening 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Monday. Now that news has surfaced that Smith could be heading for the exit at Villa Park with his assistant manager Terry taking over for the remainder of the season, this has caused a big stir between these Villa fans on Twitter.
Well that’s not going to solve anything is it? Rubbish.

This has to be a joke, right?

Honestly if this is the case I will be fuming.

What do we think?
It’s understandable that the Villa fans won’t be happy with the team or even with how Smith has taken charge of the team so far this season. But to see him get replaced by Terry, who has also been a part of Villa’s misgivings this season seems a bit silly.
