Aston Villa fans have been sharing their hopes on Twitter to see Mbwana Samatta play alongside Keinan Davis in the Villa attack.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their official page asking their followers if they would like to see the pair play together in the future.

Samatta joined the Birmingham club in the January transfer window arriving from KRC Genk to fill the void left by the absence of Wesley after the Brazilian picked up a season-ending injury earlier in the season. Since arriving at Villa Park, the Tanzanian has made five appearances in all competitions in which he has scored two goals (per Transfermarkt). In those five appearances, the only time he has played alongside Davis was in the second half of Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth last month (per WhoScored).

Now that the question has been asked whether or not the Villa fans would like to see the attacking pair play next to each other more often, a lot of Villa fans responded with their thoughts.

It seems as though from these replies, the pairing of Samatta and Davis is something that the Villa fans would like to see in the near future. If Smith does decide to start the pair in Villa’s next games and they can start scoring goals together, they could help the club avoid relegation back to the Championship.
