Some West Brom fans have reacted positively to footage posted on social media of the Baggies’ post-match celebrations from Saturday’s win versus Bristol City.

West Brom earned a 3-0 win this past weekend, extending the Baggies’ undefeated streak to five straight Championship games, of which they’ve won four. West Brom’s impressive run of form sees them enjoying a four-point lead at the top of the Championship table at present.

Their official Twitter account posted footage of three of West Brom’s current loanees – Matheus Pereira, Filip Krovinovic, and Callum Robinson – celebrating their win in front of the travelling Baggies supporters at Ashton Gate.

The footage of the three loan signings celebrating with the Baggies’ travelling supporters drew a positive reaction from many West Brom fans. Read some of the positive reactions to the West Brom players’ post-match celebrations following Saturday’s game in the tweets below.

What do we think?

Despite only playing for the Baggies on loan, it seems the three players celebrating passionately have all quickly endeared themselves to the West Brom faithful this season, as is evident in some fans’ replies to their post-match celebrations.

Pereira has made 12 Championship assists this season. This gives him the joint-highest number of assists made by any player in the Championship during the 2019/20 campaign so far. Robinson has also made a positive impression since joining the Baggies in January from Premier League Sheffield United. The 25-year-old has already scored two goals in his five Championship appearances for West Brom this season.

Pereira’s average overall rating for the 2019/20 Championship season is currently 7.39, while Robinson’s average overall rating for the 2019/20 Championship season is currently 7.34, according to WhoScored.com. No West Brom player has achieved a higher WhoScored rating than those two have this season.

Meanwhile, Krovinovic has been enjoying a positive run of form in recent weeks. The Croatian playmaker has achieved a match rating of 7.24 or higher in each of his last six Championship appearances, according to WhoScored. His recent performances have been an improvement on his overall season average of 6.68. It may be fair to say that these three loanees have quickly become West Brom fan-favourites in their time at The Hawthorns so far.
