Sunderland’s 1-0 win against Ipswich at the weekend marked the Black Cats’ sixth win in nine games. The recent run of form is a massive turnaround from the club’s dismal November. The win sees them rise to sixth in the table, and in good standing to earn a play-off spot at the end of the season.
After the match, Phil Parkinson praised the fans, claiming that it was great to have such great support during the matches. The club tweeted out a quote from the manager sharing this sentiment. Sunderland fans responded to the tweet suggesting that he deserved a lot of credit. They are impressed with how well he has gotten the team playing. One fan points out the defence as being a specific area of improvement.
Credit to him of what’s his doing I’m hoping the next win he applauds the fans keep it up Phil. ??????

Has Phil Parkinson won you over?
Yes
No
What do we think?
It is excellent to see that Sunderland fans are beginning to see the value that Phil Parkinson brings to the Stadium of Light. Assuming he does win the side promotion, he will be looking to prove that he has what it takes to manage this team in the Championship.
