Recently, Sheffield Star journalist Dom Howson posted a link to his article about the Owls goalkeeper. When fans saw it, most were left fuming by his defence of Dawson. They want him gone.

Good article Dom. However,there are no doubts Dawson needs to improve not only on his kicking but also his distribution and giving confidence to what is a shaky back 4 at present. Can’t go back to Westwood but is it time for Wildsmith to show what he can do?

Stick with him and Wildsmith but Dawson must improve his kicking and decision making. It’s okay to just launch the ball into touch when in a terrible position like he got himself into last Saturday.
