Some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been raving about a tweet that former manager Carlos Carvalhal sent out recently.
A group of Sheffield Wednesday fans were recently in Portugal to see Carvalhal’s Rio Ave side play. The Owls’ former manager saw his side pick up a 4-0 win away from home.
Is Carvalhal better than Garry Monk?
Yes, absolutely
Monk is better
After the game, Carvalhal posted a message for the Wednesday fans, with the post including a video of him meeting the Owls supporters. His tweet left many Wednesday raving and urging Carvalhal to come back home.

54-year-old Carvalhal was at Wednesday from July 2015 to December 2017, when he left the club to join then-Premier League side Swansea City.
The 2015-16 season in the Championship had seen Carvalhal take the club to a sixth-placed finish, reaching the play-off final as they lost to Hull City by a 1-0 margin.
The 2016-17 season had seen Wednesday finish as high as fourth in the Championship, though Carvalhal had left the club mid-season for the Swans. In the play-offs, the Owls lost in the semi-finals to Huddersfield Town.
What do we think?
The manner of Carvalhal achievements at the club reserves a special place for him in the heart for the Wednesday fans. They are right to hail him and to urge him to come back soon.
