Rangers fans were left shocked last night after their match against Livingston saw them win by just one goal. Scott Arfield opened and closed the scoring in the 59th minute to seal the victory for his side.
However, Rangers supporters were left frustrated after Alfredo Morelos’ goal in the 71st minute and Florian Kamberi’s goal in the 88th minute were both called back for offside.
After the match, Colin Armstrong posted photos of the two incidents, both of which appear to show that the goals should have stood.
He claims that Rangers should have had three perfectly good goals during the match, but were only awarded one.
Supporters reacted to these photos, sharing Armstrong’s frustration. Many admit that, while they thought Morelos’ goal was unfairly called back, Kamberi’s could have been just off.
Morelos is easily on. Kamberi probably a shade off.

Last 3 games have been incompetently officiated

Thought Kamberi was off but Morelos defo on. Haven’t seen a better angle of the Kamberi one, but he took it well and looked bright today. Hope he gets a chance.

Utter shambles, these referees are appalling. The handball plus the tackle on Goldson were another couple of howlers.

Do you think Kamberi's goal was actually offside?
Yes
No
When one fan asks if there is a better frame that shows exactly when Morelos’ pass to Kamberi was hit, Armstrong shared a new photo. He suggested that, while Kamberi could have been slightly off, his frustration is that every marginal call goes against the Gers. They never get lucky when it’s a coin toss decision.
He has here. Tighter than two coats of paint.
Every marginal decision goes against us. pic.twitter.com/2rmFhFzHfx

What do we think?
Rangers fans are naturally frustrated. Luckily for them, the decision didn’t cost them the match. Perhaps this is a good time for Steven Gerrard to revisit the VAR argument he made after Celtic’s offside goal won them the Scottish League Cup.
