While it was just by one goal, Rangers managed to walk away with all three points after hosting Livingston in the league. Scott Arfield scored the match’s only goal, his sixth in nine games since the beginning of the new year.
Since Rangers’ last game of 2019, the 2-1 win at Parkhead, the Gers have played in nine competitive matches. Arfield has featured in every one of those matches, scoring six times. He has three league goals in seven matches, and three goals in two Scottish FA Cup matches.
It shows an incredible turn around in form for Arfield, who had previously scored just three goals in 34 games this season before the turn of the year.
The goal earned Arfield the Man of the Match award. Fans praised the player after the club posted the news on Twitter.
Congratulations Scotty

Has Arfield been Rangers' best player since the Parkhead win?
Yes
No
Other supporters think Arfield has been the side’s only consistent player since the winter break.
Only player that came back from Dubai

What do we think?
If Rangers end up closing the gap on Celtic in the league, Arfield’s big goals in 2020 could play a huge part.
