Earlier in the week, Rangers fans celebrated a victory in the second leg of their round-of-32 UEFA Europa League tie against Braga. The win saw the Gers advance to the next round after winning 4-2 on aggregate.
It was an impressive accomplishment for Steven Gerrard’s side. After losing to Benfica in the Taca de Portugal in mid-December, Braga went on a 10-game unbeaten run, winning nine of those matches, with Rangers ending that unbeaten run at Ibrox in the first leg.
Can Rangers win the next round of the competition?
Yes
No
The victory over the Portuguese side wouldn’t have been possible without one of Rangers’ newest recruits, Ianis Hagi. Hagi joined the Gers in January after completing a loan move from Genk. He scored two goals and registered an assist in the first leg, and assisted Ryan Kent’s goal in the second, giving him a direct hand in all four of the Rangers goals scored over the two legs.
Yesterday, Hagi celebrated the victory on Twitter, reminding the fans that this is the first time the Gers have advanced to the last 16 since 2011. The fans praised his influence in response and admit that would love to see him stay with the Gers for the long haul.
Well done Hagi ???????

What do we think?
If Hagi is capable of putting in performances like he did against Braga for the remainder of this tournament, there is no telling how far Gerrard’s side can go.
For now, however, Gers fans will be savouring the win and turning their focus to Hearts this weekend.
