Rangers faced Livingston in the league this weekend, managing to secure all three points through a Scott Arfield goal.

But the Gers fans took a moment to appreciate the efforts of Andy Halliday. The left-back came into the match to replace the injured Borna Barisic.

They praised the 28-year-old Scotsman. They think that he demonstrated what it meant to be a Rangers player during the match. They don’t think he ever hides away in games and was willing to run through a brick wall for the side.

Is Andy Halliday an adequate left-back for Borna Barisic?

Yes

No

What do we think?

It was clear that the fans were impressed with Halliday. Even playing out of position, with his main position being defensive-midfield, the player was one of the supporters main highlights. So far this season he has only played five league games for Steven Gerrard’s side, however, he has registered an assist in those appearances.

The supporters can rest easy knowing they have someone like Halliday who can step in when Barisic is not available.
