Fans of Nottingham Forest have been reacting to a post on Twitter featuring footage of Sabri Lamouchi discussing the situation surrounding his contract.
Nottingham Forest have been performing above expectations so far this season, with the club currently sitting in fifth place in the Championship, four points behind second-placed Leeds, and with manager Sabri Lamouchi out of contract in the summer, talk has recently been surrounding his future.
During his press conference in the build-up to the QPR game, Lamouchi commented: “Listen, I have the responsibility to focus on the right things, this is very important. If I focus only on my contract, it is a big mistake. My contract is not so important, myself I am not so important.
“But, what we want to realise together, is important, because we will keep that for the rest of our lives… especially here in this amazing club, with the fantastic fans, and they have been waiting for a long, long time.”
He continued: “So, me, the players, the club, the fans, we all need to stay together and to focus on that. 13 games and the next one is QPR, we just want to focus on the next three points, and to increase the belief.”
Nottingham Forest fans have been quick to praise their manager, with some suggesting that the Frenchman may have already signed a new deal and is simply hiding it until the end of the season, as to not distract his squad.

LEGEND. Whatever happens this season, he should always be welcome at The City Ground. He puts the club, the fans, and the players first. How rare is that today? LEGEND.

it’s important to us Sabri! Best manager we’ve had since Clark.

It’s clear Sabri wouldn’t want it announcing until the season has finished even if he’s already been offered a new deal.

What do we think?
Sabri Lamouchi has worked wonders since taking charge of Nottingham Forest, with his record standing at 17 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses. Even if he fails to take Forest to the Premier League, it is difficult to imagine the club not wanting him to stick around.
