Some Celtic fans have been talking about Brendan Rodgers and the manner in which he left the club for Leicester City last February.
The Hoops are currently at the top of the Premiership with a commanding 12-point lead. With Neil Lennon currently in charge, Rodgers had left the club in February last year and it has been 12 months since he left.
Is Rodgers a better manager than Neil Lennon?
Lennon is miles better
Rodgers will always be better
Celtic-related page ‘CeltsAreHere’ posted about Rodgers and it got many Hoops fans talking. Many were still angry over how Rodgers left the Parkhead-based outfit.
As much as his departure left a bad taste, if he waited until the summer then Lennon would have had less time to get ready for this season.

The whole of last season was a fiasco because of him, causing trouble behind the scenes. Making false promises. Tried to sneak out the door. actually sneaking out in the second half of season leaving us with rubbish players he signed and no staff. Guy was always In it for himself

I don’t give him a second thought anymore, no feelings towards him.
We are a better team now that he is gone, and Lenny came in.— Declan (@Dechass) February 25, 2020
And tried to take the whole back room staff with him… The ego war with Lawwell took over.. He is a rat!

If Rodgers wasnt such a good manager then we wouldn’t have been as angry as we were when he left. No point kidding on his tenure wasn’t superb, but the way he left was awful, that’s where the resentment comes from.

Guy tried to take half the staff with him and gut the backroom staff. Should never be welcomed back if we do 10. Absolute fraud.

Rodgers joined Celtic as the club’s manager in the summer of 2016 and he had picked up 2.24 points per match for the Hoops, as per Transfermarkt.
As the Celtic manager, Rodgers won the Scottish Premiership twice and won the Scottish Cup twice as well. Not just that, but the club also won the League Cup three times under the former Liverpool manager.
What do we think?
The comments make it clear that Celtic fans have moved on from Rodgers – a fair enough stance considering he had not done the club much good by leaving mid-season. However, Celtic fans have to focus on the positives of the current season, as they are 12 points clear at the top of the table.
