Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the latest Twitter post of Michael Stewart after the club’s 5-0 win over Hearts in the Premiership.
With other results going their way on Wednesday night, Celtic increased their lead at the top of the table to 10 points.
After the game, Stewart put out a post on Twitter. It hailed Celtic’s current form as ‘peerless’ and believes that the Hoops are going from ‘strength to strength’. Hoops fans were left to discuss this post – but fans seemed more concerned with the controversy surrounding the former Hearts man after he was dropped by the BBC for comments he had made on-air.
Do you want Michael Stewart back on TV?
Yes, he's very good
He doesn't deserve it
Celtic untouchable again this year, strolling home now, here we go, 10 in a row.

Don’t let the bullies beat you Michael ! You and Sutty are the best pundits !!!

Keeping this guy off the TV is a joke. One of the only honest pundits out there to say it how it is. Didn’t realise we were still living in the age of censorship.

Putting Stewart’s career issues to one side, Celtic are yet to lose a game in 2020 as they’ve beaten Kilmarnock, Ross County, Hamilton, Motherwell and now Hearts in the Premiership. They’ve already progressed into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup, beating Partick Thistle and Clyde recently.
As for Rangers, their form has not been good since the turn of the year. They’ve won just two of their last five Premiership games, losing to Hearts and Kilmarnock while being held to a draw by Aberdeen.
What do we think?
Stewart is right to hail Celtic and say that they’ve gone ‘strength to strength’. They’ve scored 77 goals this season– more than anyone else not just in Scotland but more than anyone else in Europe too.
