Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to slate Pablo Hernandez for his poor display against Brentford in midweek.
This comes after Leeds fan account @Conor_ALTV shared a post on their Twitter page criticising the winger for his display in the 1-1 draw, saying he has “been off it for a while now”.
The post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their own negative thoughts on Hernandez’s performance in the draw.
Should Pablo Hernandez be dropped from the team?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans slating Hernandez:
Can I also say, Costa getting stick, he was better than Hernandez last night.
Pablo has been off it for a while now.
Got to give criticism where it's due, even if they are your favourite.#LUFC.

I agree mate. As much as he’d been hit and miss. Pablo isn’t bringing much to games these days. Surely this style is finally catching up with him.

Agree with this. Seems like Pablo is massively lacking something. Giving the ball away and doesn’t look like the threat we’d like him to be.

Agree. Costa has really worked on the tracking back part of his game too. Tricky one with Pablo as he’s not been totally at it but always has the potential to “do Pablo things”.

The winger played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw at Griffin Park, earning him a match rating of 6.47 according to WhoScored. After the match, plenty of Leeds fans were quick to share their thoughts on Twitter of what they thought was a poor performance in the draw.
Do you remember when he could control the ball? Those were the days

Pablo has been shocking recently and you can see his frustration in recent weeks especially when he was subbed off last week……

Hernandez off it for a while. I’d start Shackleton instead

Hernandez’s age really starting to show now and its tough to see. I still think he can have a big impact for us this season. Can’t be playing as much as he is though, hasn’t got the legs anymore

Pablo has been rubbish for quite a while this season according to his own standards and so as Costa i think moving Pablo back wide would be better for us Costa not getting the ball when he wants it and certainly not crossing very well.(Costa needs to man up) a little softie

What do we think?
It’s never nice to see fans criticising one of their own players, but every player is susceptible to criticism every now and again. The Leeds fans will now be hoping that Hernandez can put this midweek performance behind him and move forward as the club aim to gain promotion to the Premier League.
