Some Celtic fans have been hailing the comments that Neil Lennon recently made about the ongoing Premiership title charge.
After the Hoops’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock, Lennon was talking about the title race and he revealed that the club is will ‘concentrate on our own affairs’ and the title is a ‘million miles away’.
Is Lennon better than Steven Gerrard?
Yes, shouldn't even be a question
Gerrard shades it for me
When Superscoreboard relayed these comments on Twitter, it left many Celtic fans raving. They couldn’t agree more with Lennon’s comments, while some enjoyed hearing their manager’s words.
Now that’s what I call a Class Manager

Good attitude to have. If he starts taking about it being over the players might slow down. Get complacent. Good statement

Think he meant the title for Rangers themselves ?

Lennon was appointed as the interim Hoops manager in February 2019 after Brendan Rodgers had left the club to join Leicester City in the Premier League. But Lennon’s move to Parkhead was made permanent in the summer, as the club won the Premiership for the eighth consecutive season.
So far, the Hoops have already won the League Cup this season by beating Rangers in the final. They are the top of the Premiership table, while they have progressed into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup as well.
What do we think?
It is clear that Lennon is staying quiet about the title race and that is a good thing, considering the title isn’t won yet. It can keep the squad fighting for even more, with some games yet to be played.
