Some Celtic fans have been discussing the possibility of striker Odsonne Edouard staying at the club till the end of next season.
Edouard recently won the January Player of the Month in the Premiership having previously won the award in August.
While he didn’t score a goal for the club against Hearts in midweek despite the Hoops winning 5-0, Celtic fans were discussing if the Frenchman could stay until the end of the next season and help the Bhoys reach a potential 10th straight league title.
Will Edouard stay for 10 in a row?
He will stay
He's off in the summer
When CelticUnderground posted about it on Twitter, many Hoops fans got talking.
I cannae see it.
10 doesnt mean the same to him as it does to us.
plus I expect big money offers. Not morelos type of offers, real offers.
in saying that I would love him to stay though….— tamrabam (@tamrabam1) February 13, 2020

Nah I’m afraid.

I doubt he’ll stay past the summer tbh. He’ll get £70k a week minimum wherever he goes next so I don’t think he’ll pass that up. It would be amazing if he gave us another year tho.

Edouard joined Celtic on a loan deal in the summer of 2017, but the move was made a permanent one a year later – with the Frenchman signing a four-year contract for a club-record fee of £9 million.
This season, the former Paris Saint-Germain man has been in impressive form. He has scored 23 goals in all competitions, racking up 17 assists as well.
What do we think?
It seems tough to see how Edouard might stay beyond the upcoming summer transfer window, since Leicester City are reportedly primed to make an offer. If there is a chance of him staying, Celtic may have to offer him more money and lure him into staying.
