Some Celtic fans have voted on their favourite win of the season – and it seems clear which game is the pick of the bunch.
The Hoops are currently at the top of the Premiership table and have a 10-point lead over their nearest rivals. They’re set to face Copenhagen in the Round of 32 of the Europa League and have already won the Scottish League Cup.

A Celtic fan page recently asked Hoops fans about what was their best win of the season. Many of them were sure that the club’s 2-1 win at Lazio was their best game of the campaign so far.

The Hoops had beaten Simone Inzaghi’s Biancocelesti twice in the group stages of the Europa League. Both the wins came by a 2-1 scoreline, but the away game at the Stadio Olimpico saw Olivier Ntcham grab a stoppage-time winner to pick up all three points for the side.
The two defeats had played a role in knocking Lazio out in the group stages of the competition, while the Hoops finished at the top of their group.
What do we think?
Lazio have already beaten Juventus twice, while a Sergey Milinkovic-Savic goal had seen them beat fellow title rivals Inter as well this season. Inzaghi’s men are now second in the Scudetto race – only one point behind Juve.
This shows that the feat of beating Lazio was no small one, and it shall go down in the memory of many Hoops fans.
