This week, Forest Green Rovers’ Odin Bailey scored a cracking goal against Grimsby Town. The player is currently on loan from Birmingham City until the end of the season. The strike was an absolute rocket, sailing over goalkeeper James McKeown and into the top-right corner of the net.
When Birmingham City posted a clip of the strike, fans were complimentary of his finish. There are many fans who think he should never have been loaned out in the first place. They would like to see him recalled.
Announce. Recall. Bailey.

Would Odin Bailey see more minutes if he was to return now?
Yes
No
Others think he could be close to first-team football for the Blues when he eventually returns to St. Andrew’s. If he continues to score goals like the one shared above, Pep Clotet may be anxious to have him back as well.

What do we think?
It was probably a good plan to send Bailey out on loan. The player had only played 84 minutes of league football in the first half of the season when he was still with Birmingham. Despite this, he managed to bag himself a goal during that time. Bailey has now already played more minutes of football in League Two during his short stint at Forest Green Rovers.
