Some Birmingham City fans have been sharing positive reactions on social media to Marc Roberts’ impressive aerial stats from Saturday’s Championship fixture versus Sheffield Wednesday.
The positive posts regarding Marc Roberts’ aerial ability come after Birmingham City’s official Twitter account recently made a post sharing an impressive statistic on Roberts’ aerial success from last Saturday’s match. The post from the Blues’ official account read that Roberts won 20 out of the 22 aerial duels that he contested against the Owls.
According to WhoScored, Roberts, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), managed to win at least seven more aerial duels than any other player on the pitch in last Saturday’s contest.
The 29-year-old’s aerial dominance helped him to earn an overall rating of 8.05 on WhoScored for his performance versus Sheffield Wednesday this past weekend. Only Lukas Jutkiewicz earned a higher overall rating on the website than Roberts at the weekend.
