Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been airing their thoughts after Tim Spiers relayed the news that tickets for their Europa League away tie had sold out.
On Wednesday, the reporter for the Athletic revealed that tickets for the second leg at Espanyol had sold out and that only ‘a few hundred’ remained for the home leg (per Tim Spiers), which had some fans gutted.
Wolves have sold out their allocation for Espanyol away.

Would you rather be at the game and lose, or not have a ticket and have a chance to win?Be at the game, would love to see us play thereNot have a ticket to go, I want to see us go far |
Just a day prior to the Old Gold selling out their away allocation for the clash with Espanyol, Spiers also revealed that the La Liga side was not budging on how many tickets would be available to Wolves fans (per Tim Spiers).
With this season being the first that Wolves have competed in European football since 1980, when the club was beaten by PSV Eindhoven in the first round of the UEFA Cup (per Football Site), fans were desperate to be in attendance.
Yes I know. I had 1100 points and would have been next in line. Cancelled accommodation. There’s always next time but we’ll probably get a British Club. I still have my memories of Turin which was best away day ever

What do we think?
The RCDE Stadium has a capacity of 40,500 (per Stadium Guide), so, it is a shame that the club has not allocated more to the Old Gold.
Hopefully, should Wolves see off their round-of-32 opponents, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side can draw a team which allows Wolves fans a bigger allocation.
