Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have gushed over footage which was posted by the club from their warm-weather training camp.
On Tuesday, the Old Gold posted to Twitter with a video from a training session in which Rui Patricio scores a well-timed volley (as per Wolves), which had fans stating he should now be used as Raul Jimenez’s backup.
What a pass from Neves, what a finish from Patricio! ? pic.twitter.com/S5SJAQ3870

Would a backup striker be the first area Nuno Espirito Santo should look to sign in the summer?Yes, we desperately need oneNo, other positions needed first |
The Portuguese stopper has been a key feature for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side so far this term, however, at the opposite end of the pitch, with nine clean sheets over 35 games in all competitions (as per Transfermarkt).
While his average rating has not been overly inspiring, to say the least, with a 6.53/10 (per WhoScored), Wolves fans thought they may have found a new position for the 31-year-old.

What do we think?
While the comments made by fans were very much tongue-in-cheek, it does give the feeling that many still believe that the Old Gold still do not have adequate striking cover.
The signing of Leonardo Campana late in the transfer window will certainly help, however, with only the two recognised strikers in the squad (per Transfermarkt), it may be Espirito Santo’s first order of business in the summer to further aid that position.
