3. A decent player for German football not cut out for a Premier League battle.
We need to go sign a striker free agent to give him some competition

Do you believe that Sebastien Haller will fulfil his potential for West Ham?Yes, he will come good for usNo, he's not good enough |
The former Eintracht Frankfurt man arrived at the London Stadium over the summer in a move which will cost the Hammers around the £45-million mark (per BBC).
Since his arrival, the Frenchman has bagged six goals and two assists over 26 appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt), which has left many fans disappointed in him.
Had plenty of service and plenty of chances… drop him and put Antonio up top

Over paid for and over hyped.
Change my mind.

The least you would expect from a player is workrate, I can’t defend him. He looks a decent finisher, but nothing more. For the money we paid for him, he hasn’t got the quality needed imo.

Lazy. No one should give up on 50k plus a week. Chase the keeper down, make the centre pairing work and clear in haste. He hardly ever does any of this. It’s part of his role. Carrying him, Anderson, Lanzini, can’t afford that in any league.

What do we think?
Despite supporters openly airing their frustrations on the Frenchman, Haller has a decent 7.16/10 average rating for this season so far (as per WhoScored).
As some supporters have mentioned, Haller’s perceived lack of ability has perhaps come from a lack of service (per Football Insider), so, perhaps it is more of a tactical issue than with the 25-year-old himself.
