On Monday, the club posted an interview with the Englishman in which he stated that he was “buzzing” to be at the club (as per West Ham), which had some fans suggesting what they thought he really meant.

Will Jarrod Bowen be an important player in helping West Ham to beat the drop?Yes, it could be a vital signingNo, we have no hope of surviving |
The Hammers secured the services of the 23-year-old attacker on the final day of the January transfer window, in a deal which cost the club around the £20-million mark (as per BBC).
Having bagged 17 goals and six assists for the Tigers over 32 games in all competitions so far this term (as per Transfermarkt), Bowen arrived with plenty of promise, however, some fans were still downbeat.

He has a relegation release clause, one way or the other, he’ll be OK at the end of the season.

What do we think?
With the club currently sitting in the relegation zone of the Premier League by a single point (as per BBC), it is clear to see what West Ham fans are not full of enthusiasm.
However, the signing of Bowen is as good a reason as any to be optimistic, his 7.35/10 average rating for the season so far shows that he has a real consistency to his talent and could be a big player for David Moyes (per WhoScored).
