Some Celtic fans have been left raving and laughing about the latest video involving club legend Chris Sutton recently.
The Hoops are currently seven points clear of Rangers at the top of the table. They recently picked up a 4-1 win over Hamilton, while the Gers were held to a goalless draw by Aberdeen away from home on Saturday.
Hoops legend Sutton was recently on BT Sport and was asked about Rangers. Sutton felt that Rangers went into the winter break like a ‘sports car’, but came back like a ‘spluttering three-wheeler’.
Was Sutton right about Rangers?
He was spot on!
No, not really
A video of this went viral when Hoops fan @LilZe85 posted it on Twitter. It got many Celtic fans laughing.
In all the banter years this has been my favourite. Excellence from start to finish.
Bravo Chris. Bravo!

So far this season, the Hoops have scored the highest number of goals in the Premiership. They have found the back of the net 68 times in the league, with Rangers having scored 57 times for Steven Gerrard’s men.
As for goals conceded, the Hoops have the second-best defensive record in the Premiership. They have let in 15 goals, while Rangers have conceded just 13 times.
Rangers did beat the Bhoys at the end of the year in the last Old Firm derby. But since coming back from the winter break, they have played three Premiership games, winning just one – losing against Hearts and drawing against Aberdeen.
What do we think?
Sutton’s quote was very imaginative and he probably put a lot of time into coming up with it – but it is a very accurate impression of what has been going wrong for Gerrard’s team.
