Fans of West Ham United have launched a scathing review of the Hammers’ 26-year-old full-back, Arthur Masuaku.
With the question posed to them over what their feelings are on the Democratic Republic of the Congo national (via @irons_united), supporters slammed the defender.
?He never gives the ball away?
Some are for, some are against

Awful. Been saying it for 4 seasons. No positional sense, no in game intelligence. Massively over hyped as an attacking player… his level is the Greek league which is where we signed him from

Awful player stealing a living

I fail to see a single attribute he brings that contributes to the team
Awful positional sense, no awareness of danger, and what’s the point of having pace if you only use it to run down blind alleys.
Wouldn’t have him anywhere near the team at the moment.— Marcus Johns (@Johnsie31) February 4, 2020
Worst player at the club

Should West Ham look to sell Arthur Masuaku in the summer?Yes, absolutely not good enoughNo, he definitely offers us something |
The Hammers signed Masuaku from Greek club Olympiakos in the summer of 2016 (as per BBC) and the full-back has made 90 appearances for the London club since, scoring one and assisting seven (as per Transfermarkt).
In the Premier League this term, the 26-year-old has featured in 14 games, during which he has bagged one assist (per Transfermarkt), however, fans were unimpressed with the defender.
I think his time is up. His positioning is terrible and he doesn’t sense danger. Should be dropped.

Horrendously overrated at any position. Total liability
— Fan of the Board (@LoveGoldnSully) February 4, 2020
Absolute garbage. As soon as he comes on we concede. Gives the ball away ALL the time. A liability. His defensive awareness and positioning are second to everything and he acts like he doesn’t care. Move him on.
— Rusty (@rusty_pagey) February 5, 2020
His lack of a footballing brain is frightening at this level. No positional sense, no spatial awareness, no ability to sense danger or know when he has time on the ball, constantly loses his markers, and causes panic amongst the defenders around him.

What do we think?
With an average rating of 6.66/10 for the season so far (as per WhoScored), it is perhaps clear to see why Hammers fans have been so unimpressed with the left-back.
With a contract set to run until the summer of 2024 (per Transfermarkt), though, unless another club wants to purchase the defender, it seems unlikely he will be leaving the London Stadium any time soon.
