The young defender has featured in two games for the Hammers’ first team so far this season, both against Liverpool and both as a right-back, having also played centre-back intermittently with the Under-23s (per Transfermarkt).
Despite only featuring on two occasions, Ngakia has been the Irons’ eighth-best performer in the Premier League this season in terms of average rating, with a score of 6.76/10 (per WhoScored), leaving many delighted.

What do we think?
Despite playing just two games for the first team in his career (per Transfermarkt), it is clear that supporters have their minds made up on the youngster.
Having only featured against table-topping Liverpool (per BBC) and still coming out as the eighth-best performer in the side on average (per WhoScored) is a great testament to the 19-year-old’s abilities.
