Supporters of West Ham United have shown their delight that Liverpool supporters have agreed to fly a flag at the Kop end in favour of the protest against the current ownership.
As relayed by Hammers United, supporters of the Reds have agreed to support the protest when the pair meet on 24th February, with West Ham fans donate food to local Liverpool food banks in return (via West Ham Gossip), which had lots of Hammers fans delighted.

Did you predict West Ham to be performing better than they are doing at the start of the season?Yes, I thought we would be doing much betterNo, we're exactly where I thought we would be |
Fans of West Ham have been protesting in recent months (via Telegraph) to force the club’s current ownership to sell the Irons due to fan disapproval of the direction that the club is heading in.
The Hammers currently sit 18th in the Premier League table, inside the relegation zone by one point (per BBC), so many supporters were delighted to hear that Liverpool fans would be supporting their cause.
Don’t usually like Liverpool but this is class from both sides

What do we think?
Between two sides, it is always good to see some level of unity and even greater if something positive can be done for a good cause in the process.
While a number of the club’s former players have attempted to persuade fans to drop their protest (via The Sun and TalkSPORT), there seems to be little sign of the fans’ opposition to the board slowing down.
