Spurs fans were delighted to hear that the club are being linked with Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham but could face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United.

According to the Daily Star (via Daily Hotspur), the North London club have entered the race to sign the 16-year-old, who has been a regular in the Championship so far this season; making 31 appearances and scoring four goals.

The teenager has attracted attention from a lot of Premier League sides, perhaps since he scored the winner on his home debut for the Blues in a 2-1 win over Stoke City. Manchester United had reportedly made an offer for the England U’17 international in January, but the Championship side were unwilling to accept any offers below £25 million.

These Spurs fans are clearly excited about the possible signing of Bellingham and will be hoping that they can see off competition from Liverpool and Manchester United.

What do we think?

Spurs have had success with young English talents in the EFL before, with the signing of Dele Alli having proved extremely successful, with the 23-year-old now valued at £81 million. With Birmingham having already stated that they wanted £25 million in January however, this could prove to be a slightly more expensive transfer than the Alli deal.
