Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Peter Crouch after Jose Mourinho joked that he may look to sign the striker after the injury suffered by Heung-Min Son.
In his pre-match conference, Mourinho was asked about the possibility of signing a striker, following the respective injuries to Son and Harry Kane, to which the 57-year-old suggested bringing back Peter Crouch per Hayters TV (via The Spurs Web). The former England striker quoted the tweet saying: “I’m ready Jose”, which has gathered a lot of responses from supporters of the North London club.
Crouch made 93 appearances for Spurs during his career; contributing 24 goals and 21 assists between 2009-2011 before making the move to Stoke City. The 39-year-old retired from professional football in July 2019.
Do you think Crouch would come out of retirement to help Spurs?

These Spurs fans would clearly love to see Crouch back at the North London club.
What do we think?
As great as it would be to see Crouch back in the Premier League, it seems unlikely that the 39-year-old would come out of retirement to help out his old side, despite his recent tweet.
