According to reports by Alasdair Gold on Twitter, Giovani Lo Celso has rejoined the Spurs first team in full training – something which has overjoyed the Tottenham fanbase.
Tottenham posted in a statement on their website: “Giovani Lo Celso is back in the frame for our trip to Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.”
It continued: The in-form midfielder has returned to training after missing our FA Cup replay win against Southampton last time out on 5 February with a groin injury.”
The news has understandably gone down well with Spurs fans, with some claiming the Argentinian will be a “massive boost” following his return to the matchday squad.
Giovani Lo Celso was taking part in full training today at Spurs with the group. I'm told Erik Lamela was doing some separate work with Juan Foyth, away from the group

What do we think?
After a relatively slow start to life in a Tottenham shirt, primarily due to injuries, Lo Celso was beginning to hit form before his latest injury setback.
In his previous three fixtures, the 23-year-old has played slightly deeper in Spurs’ midfield, contributing five key passes and eight dribbles, averaging a 7.2 match rating on WhoScored.
If he remains fit, Lo Celso has the ability to become a regular in Tottenham’s starting XI (having started their last three league games), and could well be an important factor in whether Spurs are once again playing Champions League football next season.
