Less than a week after joining the Blades, Sander Berge made his debut for Sheffield United. According to manager Chris Wilder, he was thrilled with how Berge played during the match.
“Sander can be pleased with his performance, he has fitted in fantastically well and certainly there is more to come,” said Wilder (Independent).
It wasn’t just the boss who was impressed with Berge’s performances. The Sheffield United fans echoed Wilder on Twitter, praising his performance. One supporter thinks he oozes class and is on track to becoming his favourite ever Norwegian Blade. That is some statement after making just one appearance for the side.

What do we think?
Sheffield United fans must be careful that they don’t get too carried away with one good performance. With that being said, Berge looks well on his way to becoming a star in Wilder’s side. If he can continue to perform at a high level then hopefully, for Blades fans, he can help them win a spot in Europe next season.
