Some Celtic fans have been hailing the workrate and commitment of utility man Jonny Hayes after their recent win over Hamilton.
The win on Sunday saw Odsonne Edouard score twice, while a goal each from James Forrest and Christopher Jullien made sure that the Hoops came back from a goal down to win the game 4-1 away from home. The game had seen Hayes come on in the second-half.
Is Hayes a valuable member of Celtic FC?
He is, what a warrior
No, he's not good enough
Journalist Brian McNally tweeted about Hayes after the game and many Hoops fans were left raving about the utility player.
Jonny Hayes isn’t one of life’s superstars and he may be considered as a ‘water carrier’ by many but he’s gives 100% every time. He’ll do for me.

Personally I think he deserves a new contract, gives a hundred percent in every game he plays in, good on him

The man is a warrior, plays for the badge and should be rewarded with a new contract

Flack he gets is ridiculous. Didn’t anyone else jump over hoarding to get the ball. No one can question his commitment!

So far this season, Hayes, who is valued at £675k (as per Transfermarkt), has made 22 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops under Neil Lennon. 13 of them have come in the Premiership, with him playing 509 minutes of first-team football. In total, the versatile man has scored one goal and has two assists to his name, too.
He was also a useful player for the club last season, making 22 appearances in all competitions and getting three assists during that time.
Hayes joined Celtic from Aberdeen in the summer of 2017, signing a three-year deal at the club. His current deal runs out at the end of the season.
What do we think?
Hayes’ versatility down the left makes him a very good squad player for Celtic, while the fact the 32-year-old is still active for the club shows that he has a role to play in how the side gets on.
