A lot of Newcastle United fans have ripped into DeAndre Yedlin’s display against League One side Oxford United in the FA Cup.
The American international is currently the Toon’s only fit right-back with both Emil Krafth and Javier Manquillo out through injury.
Was Yedlin Newcastle's worst player on Tuesday?
Yes, he was dreadful
No, others were worse
Valentino Lazaro, who can play right wing-back, was unavailable for the tie, which meant that the 26-year-old had to play, and these Toon fans thought he was awful.
This game should spark the end of DeAndre Yedlin in #nufc’s starting XI
Going forwards,he’s always been average from wing-back, having created just 1 big chance in 36 Premier League games. But he’s also regressed defensively
Valentino Lazaro will at least offer more offensively

Horrible player mate. So careless in possession. Shouldn’t be anywhere near our first 11

Had a woeful game, really looks out of his depth

He’s absolutely hideous. How he’s still here I’ll never know

Deandre Yedlin is the most pitiful excuse for a right back I’ve ever seen, genuinely would be better playing a 50 year old Warren Barton

DeAndre Yedlin is finished as a Premier League footballer. He has been woeful against Oxford here. Lazaro for rest of the season at RWB then ship Yedlin off to the MLS or somewhere in the summer. #NUFC #OXFNEW #bbcfacup

What do we think?
Yedlin received a six out of ten from the Evening Chronicle which cited the amount of work he had to do with Oxford’s threat down the left.
The 26-year-old missed the beginning of the season with an injury, but since he has returned, he has struggled to find any form apart from in the Toon’s home games with Manchester United and Bournemouth, based on his WhoScored match ratings.
Yedlin, who is valued at £7.2m by Transfermarkt, has made 14 appearances for Newcastle this season and 110 overall, but it seems that many of their fans are sick of the former Tottenham Hotspur man.
