What do we think?
The Austrian international, who is valued at £17.1m by Transfermarkt, arrived from Inter Milan in the January transfer window and has made two appearances for Newcastle since then.
He made his debut against Norwich City as a substitute, and he started last weekend’s 4-0 thrashing by Arsenal.
Lazaro earned a 7/10 from the Evening Chronicle for his performance against the Gunners because of a good first half.
However, he did make a mistake for the second goal as he allowed Bukayo Saka to pop the ball through his legs, and the 18-year-old squared the ball for Nicolas Pepe, who swept the ball home. (1:22)
Lazaro admitted in an interview after the match that he is used to playing further forward, so maybe Steve Bruce will move him up the pitch on Saturday.
