I wish he made it with us. Could have been a fantastic back up to Salah but unfortunately didn’t work out

The 25-year-old first signed to the club in 2014 from Benfica for a fee of £22.5 million (per Transfermarkt). After scoring just three goals in 34 appearances for the club, Markovic found himself loaned out of Liverpool every since finally leaving the club on a free transfer to Fulham last year (per Transfermarkt).
Now that Markovic has returned to the club he started his career at, FK Partizan Belgrade, the winger has been reflecting on his unsuccessful time at Anfield. But after revealing he still admires the club, this has paved the way for lots of Liverpool fans to share their thoughts on the player.
Absolutely diabolical signing – one of the very worst

It’s great to know he still watches #LFC as well. Real shame it never worked out for him.

What do we think?
It’s nice to see that Markovic still has positive feelings towards the Merseyside club despite not having the most successful time at the club.
